Volunteer firefighters make up more than 80 percent of the firefighters of America. Some choose to be volunteers because they want to earn a position as a career firefighter. Others simply want to serve their community in ways that are fun, exciting, and highly rewarding. Volunteer firefighters are everyday people like you and me. We are Mothers & Fathers, Sisters & Brothers, and Sons & Daughters.

The need for volunteer firefighters in El Dorado County has never been greater. As our local population grows, so does the demand for firefighting and emergency services. With your help, we can make a difference in the lives of others.
